Life in a Cemetery
In a field near Rákosliget (outskirts of Budapest, Hungary), three homeless souls (Lajos, Anita, and Ignác) find refuge amidst an abandoned Jewish cemetery, dormant for 78 years. Occasional street cleaners, inhabit the decaying funeral home that once hosted wakes and jewish rituals for the dead. Many people in the nearest streets do not even know about the existence of the cemetery without any road access that witnesses nature's reclamation, as there are no financial resources for the renovation. A handful of local activists deal with its maintenance, and the graves in the “backyard” are looked after by Lajos. They are grateful to have a place to sleep and live, however, bound by isolation they confront depression, their only wish being a chance to escape and find a decent home
