Bálint Szajki (b. 1998) is a photographer based in Budapest, Hungary, who works as a staff photographer for 24.hu, one of the biggest independent leading news sites of Hungary and is a regular contributor to the National Geographic Magazine Hungary.

A twenty-four-time Hungarian Press Photo Award winner, he has received, among others, the André Kertész Award for the best human-centered photograph, the award for the best news picture, was awarded three times for best overall portfolio, and four times consecutively for best-performing photojournalist under 30. He received the prestigious Hégető Honorka Award in Hungary which honors reporters and photojournalists who address key social issues, as well as the Hemző-Károly Award, which annually recognizes the work of one photographer under 35. Since 2025, he has been a member of the Hungarian Pictorial Collective. He has been internationally recognized with the third prize of the European Anti-Stigma Award for his photo essay “In Sickness and in Health” of which he held two solo exhibitons in his home country.

His work has been exhibited multiple times at the Hungarian Press Photo Exhibition, the Budapest Photo Festival, and showcased in a side program of the World Press Photo Exhibition. His major photo essays have been published on 24.hu and on the website of the Hungarian edition of National Geographic Magazine.

He also focuses on long-term documentary projects that explore unconventional lifestyles, living environments, hidden communities, spirituality or universal questions of human existence.
